A brief description of the collective insurances administrated by Fora. It´s a packaged deal but coverage vary depeding on whether the employer has a collective agreement or not, and if employees are manual workers or non-manual workers.
Avtalspension SAF-LO, Collective pension insurance supplements the basic state pension for manual workers. The premium is paid by the employer.
Insured employees can influence the size of their future pension by choosing a pension manager to manage the pension capital. Repayment cover and family cover are optional in order to give the family extra financial security in the event of death.
Employees will receive an annual pension statement from Fora, declaring the amount of money built up and how it has developed over time.

Starts to apply: At the age of 22 years.
Normally paid out from the age of 65 years.

This insurance provides additional compensation for employees on sick leave, or when granted sickness compensation or activity compensation. The benefit is paid no earlier than day 15 of the period of sickness.

Covers work-related injury with e.g. compensation during the period of incapacity for work and for permanent invalidity. In the event of death, survivors can receive compensation. Work injury means accidents at work, on the way to/from work (except road accidents) and work-related sickness.
Covers: All employees (manual workers and non-manual workers) and company owners.

In case of death, this insurance can provide compensation in the form of a one-off payment to the survivors and funeral assistance. The size of this amount will depend on working hours, age and how many survivors there are.

Employees on parental leave and receiving parental benefit from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, may receive supplemental parental benefit.

In the event of sickness, work injury or when receiving pregnancy benefit, Premiebefrielseförsäkring, Waiver of premium insurance will pay the Avtalspension SAF-LO, collective pension insurance premium.

Starts to apply: At the age of 22 years if covered by Avtalspension SAF-LO, collective pension insurance.
Employee must apply for waiver of premium if the employee receives pregnancy/parental benefit.
When an employee reports an illness or injury, he/she automatically apply for waiver of premium.

This insurance can provide compensation in the form of a one-off payment if a person is made redundant.

Starts to apply: if the employee has reached the age of 40 years and have been employed for at least 50 months during a 5-year period.

TSL, Employment transition fund can provide help to find a new job if an employee is made redundant. The employer and the trade union jointly apply for career readjustment support on the employee's behalf. The company must be affiliated to TSL, Employment transition fund in order to make an application.

Starts to apply: A person has to have been employed at an affiliated company with a collective agreement for at least 1 year and for at least 16 hours a week.
